Enjoy life with your dog!
I have been working with dogs and their families to help them live happy and fulfilled lives since 2012. I am an active member of the dog training and dog sports communities in the Pacific Northwest, and I participate in ongoing professional training. I have a passion for dog agility and has competed in many national and international competitions with my Cavaliers and Pumis.

What to expect
Consultation
During your 15-minute virtual consultation, we cover your pet's history, health status, behavior concerns, and discuss training options. If you prefer an in-person consultation at the standard hourly lesson rate, I will send you a questionnaire to obtain your dog's behavior history and any other related concerns prior to our meeting. During the first consultation we will review this history and establish training goals. I will observe your dog's current behavior and recommend specific training exercises and/or management protocols to be undertaken before our next training session.
Sessions
Our training sessions will be hands on! I will help you learn different training techniques and new skills. I will observe and give you feedback on all the exercises in real time so we can realize our goal of continuous improvement. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions, and we can troubleshoot the training plan as needed. Between sessions you will have assigned homework, so please set aside time to practice the training exercises with your dog. From time to time I may request videos of behaviors we cannot observe during our training session.
More info
My training approach is based heavily in positive reinforcement and managing the environment to help dogs be successful. I enjoy creating training plans that are effective and rewarding for both dogs and owners.
