Gentle hands for better dogs
I started training dogs in the 80s, but the training then was very different from the training I now use and have more success with gentle quiet training of dogs. We can work on general obedience training or behavioral training. I teach owners how to train their dogs and become a team.

What to expect
Consultation
Be prepared to supply the dog’s current vaccinations and set aside a quiet place to go over what you would like to accomplish with the training. Be prepared also to take notes. Client will after consultation and following instructions a specialized lesson plan and time line. We will work together to set up future sessions that work best for dog and owner.
Sessions
In each training session there will be hands on guidance and step by step instruction to ensure a positive and consistent outcome. You will be required to work on the lessons between sessions and report on the positive and areas of trouble that you are experiencing so that we can adjust the lessons or work on better techniques. The aim is to make you a better team that understands each other and the expectations of behavior.
More info
Quiet non-force, shape and guide training using rewards and treats for correct behaviors. Also using a clicker as a maker for behavior and hand signals versus vocal commands.
