Lead with Love, Not Fear.

As a certified force-free dog trainer, I believe great behavior starts with a strong bond. I help dog parents replace outdated, correction-based methods with modern, science-backed positive reinforcement. My training philosophy is simple: lead with love, not fear.

What to expect

Consultation

Our journey begins with a comprehensive, one-on-one consultation designed to set you and your puppy up for a lifetime of success. This initial meeting is all about observation, assessment, and building a roadmap tailored to your specific lifestyle. I evaluate where your puppy/dog is with basic skills and social cues, analyze behavior, and how your home setup impacts your puppy/dog's behavior. I also want to make sure you and your puppy are feeling completely safe and confident working with me.

Sessions

Typically in your home

Every puppy learns at their own pace, each session is completely tailored to where your puppy is at. My standard sessions are highly engaging 30 minutes, structured to maximize learning without burning out your puppy's short attention span. With a goal of 15 minutes focused on cue work- core skill building, brain stimulation and progress tracking and the other 15 minutes as training in disguise- play-based learning, real-world impulse control such as manners and calming down, and positive association- keeping the sessions fun so your puppy falls in love with the training process.

Force-Free Handling

Force-free handling is an evidence-based training philosophy rooted in science, empathy, and mutual respect. Instead of using pain, fear, or intimidation to force compliance, it focuses on rewarding desired behaviors and modifying the dog's emotional state. My training focuses on addressing the root of the cause, rather than suppressing the dog's behavior, preventing aggression fallout where traditional punishment usually leads to fear-aggression, and encouraging active-learning and confidence that leads dogs to willingly choose good behavior.

Availability

As a full-time pet care professional and force-free trainer, I bridge the gap between daily pet sitting and expert behavior shaping. Your dog gets consistent attention, and you get a happier, more polite companion. I offer day-visit training drops. I check on your puppy/dog while you're at work, and integrate a force-free handling training session to their daytime routine. Midday sessions help burn mental energy and prevent standard puppy/dog mischief. I offer complete flexibility to your schedule, and can do side-by-side training as well, where we train your puppy/dog together.
