Building trust, one paw at a time
What sets me apart is my ability to truly understand each dog as an individual. I take the time to learn a dog’s personality, history, and motivation so that I can create a training plan that’s effective and enjoyable for them. My background in animal behavior and in canine cognition help me approach training from both a scientific and compassionate perspective

Consultation
Each consultation starts with getting to know you and your dog—your goals, routine, and challenges. I observe your dog’s behavior, explain what’s driving it, and create a personalized training plan that fits your lifestyle. I’ll demonstrate techniques, coach you through them, and leave you with clear, simple steps to keep progress going at home. We can then discuss how many training sessions it will take to achieve this goal and what expectations you have for your dog. My goal is for you and your dog to feel confident, connected, and set up for success.
Sessions
Each session is hands-on, positive, and tailored to your dog’s needs. We start by reviewing progress from the last visit, then focus on specific training goals like leash manners, recall, or confidence building exercises. I demonstrate each technique, guide you through it, and make sure your dog stays motivated and engaged. Sessions end on a positive note with clear homework and easy steps to practice at home. Every lesson builds on the last, helping your dog and you gain skills and confidence together. Please don't forget to bring treats and your vaccinations records.
