Behavior Modification Specialist
I've had dogs my entire life but I always knew there was more to learn so 11 years ago at the age of 40 I entered into Animal Behavior College where I learned everything from basic obedience to canine psychology. I will help replace your dog's undesirable behaviors with desirable behaviors. Dogs need their amygdala worked with so that change happens within their nervous system. When the nervous system changes and is consistently reinforced this is when lasting change occurs. I use only positive reinforcement strategies and no harsh equipment.

Consultation
Our initial consultation can be via phone call or a virtual meeting. I will ask you questions about your dog and of course you can ask me anything you'd like about me and my experience and training methods.
Sessions
Session usually last 45-minutes to an hour. This gives me time to make sure the dog doesn't exceed it's threshold and gives me time to make sure the dogs owner understands what I'm doing and how and why I'm doing it so when they can successfully continue the training until our next session.
More info
I only use positive reinforcement reward based training. I do not use any compulsion tools like prong or shock collars, etc. Those items can lead to fearful behaviors and increase risk of a self-defense bite response. I like my dogs to be happy to see me.
