Communication & Relationships
I don’t believe the training session ends when we put the treats away. Dogs learn best by practicing skills in the environments they’ll actually experience, so I incorporate neighborhood walks, parks, community outings, and adventure-based learning whenever appropriate. Rather than focusing only on obedience, I teach dogs how to make good choices, regulate their emotions, and build confidence through positive reinforcement and LIMA principles.

What to expect
Consultation
Every consultation begins with getting to know both you and your dog. We’ll discuss your goals, your dog’s history, previous training experience, daily routine, family dynamics, and any behavioral concerns. If possible, I’ll observe your dog in real time to evaluate body language, communication, and current skills. From there, I’ll develop a customized training plan with realistic goals, recommendations for session frequency, and homework to begin building success between sessions.
Sessions
No two training sessions are exactly alike because every dog and family has different goals. Each lesson follows a customized curriculum designed specifically for your dog’s needs, whether that’s puppy foundations, leash skills, confidence building, reactivity, cooperative care, or advanced behaviors. You’ll receive hands-on coaching throughout the session so you feel confident continuing the work at home. Between sessions, I’ll provide practical homework that fits into your daily routine because lasting progress comes from consistency, not just our time together.
More info
I believe training is about creating understanding, not obedience alone. Every dog learns differently, so I tailor my approach using LIMA principles, positive reinforcement, enrichment, and relationship-based training to build confidence, resilience, and communication. Whether working with puppies, reactive dogs, or family companions, I focus on teaching skills that transfer into real life—not just the training session. My goal is to empower both dogs and their people with the tools to enjoy everyday adventures together.

I offer a flexible training schedule with both online coaching and in-person sessions by appointment. I work with clients throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and select evenings or weekends when available.
