Helping Create Happier Households

In today’s day of TikTok and YouTube videos providing copious amounts information telling you what the right way is, let’s sit down and discuss what path is the right one for you and your dog instead. My goal for every client is not to just teach the how, but also the why, to help you to understand what your dog is telling you and help you learn how to communicate back and build the relationship you want to have with your dog. Together we will set the big picture goal and break down the steps to achieve that goal into less daunting milestones.

Behavior experience

Barking
Jumping
Leash manners
Leash reactivity
House manners
Fearful behavior
Anxious behavior
Recall
Biting
Chewing
Mouthiness

Training skill set

What to expect

Consultation

During your consultation we will discuss the behaviors you are looking to address, what you have tried and had success with, as well and what has not been successful. For clients looking for behavior modification (reactivity, anxiety, fearful behavior, etc.) we will also discuss in depth what these behaviors look like and go over any potential medical issues that may be contributing factors. From there we will create a realistic training plan we are both comfortable with and how many sessions that will look like.

Sessions

Typically in your home

Session are typically an hour long, though may go past that depending on what we are working on and what progress we are making during that session. I ask that clients have treats of high, medium and low value ready when the session starts, as well as any other items needed for that days sessions. I will observe you and your dog together, then work with you to adjust or change the approach to one that works for you and your dog. You will be given “homework” assignments between sessions to continue progress. I do encourage questions via call, text or email in between sessions.
