I am a certified professional dog trainer through the CCPDT. Dog training is an unregulated field. Dogs have many nuanced behaviors and no dog is trained exactly the same way. You will be able to feel at ease knowing that you have a credentialed and experienced trainer helping you. I will explain all of my methods, the what’s and the why’s.
What to expect
Consultation
During the initial consultation I will mostly be asking questions about training goals as well and asking questions to pinpoint potential causes of reactive behaviors in order to come up with a good training/behavior modification plan.
Sessions
How we begin will depend on you and your pets needs. If we are doing some basic manners training for a puppy we will dive right into teaching cues for wanted behaviors. I will give you detailed information on what and how to set your dog up for success. If we are doing behavior modification I will teach you how to recognize your dog’s body language as well as implementing management strategies so you can proactively address problem behaviors to minimize reactivity while we work to find the root cause of the behavioral issues.

I have availability Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, as well as Sunday afternoons and evenings. If these do not work for you and you want to train with me please let me know as I may be able to modify my schedule on a case by case basis.
