Help Your Dog Be Their Best!
Although I'm recently certified through the Good Pup Program, I feel I easily connect with dogs and am passionate about the importance of training. Since I'm newly certified, I'll initially be focusing on providing training to puppies at least 3 months or older that are in need of more basic training issues, such as house manners, ie. stay, go to spot, down, leave it, recall, leash training, etc. I can also provide training to older dogs that need some help honing some of those same more basic skills.

Consultation
During your consultation, we'll review/observe your dog's behavior, training goals and I will make a recommendation for the number of sessions possibly necessary to achieve these goals.
Sessions
In your first session, we'll work together to involve you in diving into some training exercises tailored for your dog's needs. I'll ask that you practice these exercises in between sessions. Please make sure your dog is up to date on all their vaccinations prior to the start of our training sessions as well as have a 4-6 feet non-retractable leash and some treats available to begin training.
More info
I believe positive reinforcement (reward based training) is the best method to train dogs. I also feel that a well exercised dog makes for a better student. A dog that has had the opportunity to burn off a little excess energy prior to training will likely be more focused on learning new behaviors.

Availability
I'm available to train your dog anytime on Mondays and Thursdays between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., as well as some weekends. I also recommend a phone call before possibly meeting in person for a consult. This way we can determine if I'm best suited to work with your dog's particular issues. Currently my schedule only allows my service area to be North of Boston anywhere between Charlestown and Beverly, MA.
