Building Unbarkable Bonds® USN K9
I believe great training starts with owning our part: dogs thrive on consistency, structure, and something to look forward to. My Navy K9 handler and Kennel Master background brings real‑world experience, patience, discipline, and proven behavior shaping. I offer personalized, force‑free programs that build trust, reinforce polite social skills, and include owner coaching, lesson plans, and follow‑up to create lasting, calm relationships—Building Unbarkable Bonds™.

What to expect
Consultation
During this 1-hour consultation, I’ll assess your dog’s behavior, routine, training history, and goals while observing how you work together. With my background as a former Navy K9 Handler and Kennel Master, I look at the full picture behind the behavior. You’ll leave with clear recommendations and practical tools you can start using right away, whether or not you book training with me. If training is recommended, I’ll suggest the best private option for your dog, either at your home or my facility.
Sessions
At training, you can expect private, structured sessions customized to your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle. I coach you through each exercise so you understand what we’re teaching, why it matters, and how to continue building on it at home. Training is hands-on, practical, and focused on clear communication between you and your dog. Progress is built through small wins, not pressure or frustration. Each package includes a written training packet outlining what to expect at each session and how to support your dog’s progress between trainer days.
More info
I use positive reinforcement training, focusing on rewarding good behavior with praise, treats, toys, and engagement. This helps dogs learn faster, build confidence, and enjoy the training process. I emphasize clear communication and consistency to reduce frustration and create lasting results. When needed, I use calm, appropriate verbal guidance (such as a firm “no”) to safely redirect unwanted behavior. My goal is always a humane, structured, and positive experience that builds trust and helps dogs become calm, focused, and well-mannered.
