Training for Real Life
I don’t believe the goal of training is to create a “perfect” dog or a robot that follows commands without thinking. Dogs are individuals, and I want them to keep the personalities that make you love them in the first place. My goal is to help you learn how to “speak dog” to understand what your dog is communicating, why they behave the way they do, and how to communicate clearly in return. At the end of the day, I want you and your dog to enjoy life together.

Consultation
Our consultation is a chance for me to get to know you and your dog. We’ll talk about your goals, your dog’s history, daily routine, and any challenges you’re facing. I’ll answer your questions, observe your dog, and help you understand what’s driving their behavior. Together, we’ll create a training plan that’s realistic for your family and your goals. You don’t need any training experience, just an open mind and a willingness to learn alongside your dog. We’ll work together to build the skills and confidence you both need to succeed.
Sessions
Training sessions are practical, positive, and tailored to you and your dog. We’ll focus on skills that fit into your everyday life while building communication, confidence, and a stronger relationship. Between sessions, I’ll provide “homework” and best practices to help you continue making progress. Small, consistent steps add up to big changes and help you and your dog build the best relationship possible.
More info
My goal is simple: to set you and your dog up for success. Training isn’t just about teaching behaviors—it’s about helping you build a relationship with your dog that makes everyday life easier and more enjoyable. I use science-based, positive reinforcement methods that help dogs learn through encouragement rather than fear or intimidation. Every dog is an individual, so I tailor training to fit your dog’s personality, your family’s lifestyle, and your goals. More than anything, I want to give you the tools and confidence to continue making progress long after our sessions end.
