Positive & Rewarding Dog Training
I believe I am different from other trainers because I focus on a balance between the needs of the dog and the needs of the pet parents. I listen to all concerns and address them in a way that is beneficial for both parties. I believe everyone can learn and grow, pet and parent alike. I follow a very positive training philosophy and focus on voluntary and non-invasive learning.

Consultation
During a consultation I want to hear all about what you have been doing at home, and what your current schedule looks like. Then I will address each of your goals and create a plan going forward and figure out how many sessions we will need to accomplish all your goals.
Sessions
I like to say that I am a people trainer for Dogs. Its very important that you know I am not here to train your dog for you, I am here to teach YOU how to train your dog. I am happy to demonstrate and walk you through things as much as you need, but its important that I see you accomplish each behavior on your own. Between sessions I expect my clients to practice at least 5 minutes a day. It doesn't have to be much, but reviewing things every day builds consistency and will make each session go smoother because we will not have to review things as much in the next session.
More info
I focus on positive, voluntary learning. I also follow LIMA - Least Invasive and Minimally Aversive. We will use Mark & Reward training, which can be done with a clicker or a verbal marker. But treats are required! So keep that in mind.
