Helping dogs listen & owners relax
I absolutely love animals and I believe that our pets are part of our family A dog that receives plenty of exercise, love and healthy food is a happy dog. My training method is always positive. Dogs should always be told what they can do not what they can’t do. Any negative training will cause bad behavior. I also offer some nutrition counseling because there are so many poor diets out there and feeding only kibble causes health issues

What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation will review your training goals and plan a schedule based on your needs. Generally training sessions are six weeks. We will discuss any behavior issues your dog is having and my recommendations to improve their behavior. An initial consultation is usually one hour and we can meet at your house or a park. I will also email notes every week and my recommendations for your reference.
Sessions
And your first session we will start working on those behavior issues or if it this is for a puppy basic obedience training. I would like to meet at a park near your house while having distractions is good for your dog. We would meet once a week in between sessions. Please reinforce the training I have given you and consistency is key so make sure you practice every day at home.
More info
I became certified in 2018 and have been around dogs my whole life. I have worked with many puppies! Positive reinforcement is how I train dogs to behave well with plenty of rewards. I don’t use any negative training tools, such as prong or choke collars. I have used clicker training before which is generally successful. anything that causes harm to a dog can cause bad behavior. I always put myself in the dog shoes and ask myself if I would like a prong collar around my neck or to be choked, and that is always a no.
