Pawisitive training for all!
I have spent most of my life around dogs, but lately, I’ve been specializing in rescue dogs. I volunteer weekly at a shelter and foster for another rescue over the summer. With this background, in combination with rescuing 3 pit mixes in the last 15 years, I understand how to meet each dog (and their people) at their level so that they feel comfortable with the training process. I’ve had so much fun with the training process that I trained my dog to be a therapy dog, earn her Intermediate Trick Title, and compete in AKC scent work trials.

What to expect
Consultation
During our consultation, we will talk about your goals for training. I’d like to know about your dog’s background, including their likes, dislikes, and possible allergies. It is also very important that I understand what you are expecting of your dog.
Sessions
In your first session, we’ll take it slowly and I’ll get to know you and your dog. We’ll work on some basic skills that are vital to the training process. It’s important to me that I understand your goals and what motivates your dog. My goal is to make this a fun experience for you and your dog to help you grow your bond! I am more than happy to train more than one dog; I do charge half price for the second dog. If outside a 25 mile radius of Holliston, I add 10 dollars on every 10 additional miles since it takes me a while to get to you.
More info
I am a positive based dog trainer, so I work with dog parents to see what motivates their dog. We then use that as a major part of the training process. Using what motivates your dog is a great way to get them hooked on training.
