Fear/Force-Free Dog Training
I was a dog daycare attendant for 2 years before attending a 6 month training academy in Chicago. Afterwards I worked in the city for a year and mentored an apprentice of my own before going independent and earning my CPDT-KA title. Every case is as unique as the dogs and guardians I work with. I take pride in applying my understanding of canine behavior to best achieve each of my clients goals as well as enrich their pups lives. My time as a trainer has given me the privilege of working with over 80 different breeds of domestic dog, granting me a comprehensive foundation of knowledge.

What to expect
Consultation
My consultations are 30 minutes long and typically act as a comprehensive conversation about your goals and how I can help you meet those with the knowledge and tool sets I have at my disposal.
Sessions
Each session is an hour long, depending on what’s required I will demonstrate and explain proper technique to achieve your desired behaviors/outcomes before giving you time to practice with me present.
More info
I abide by LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive) protocols which both ensures your pup is under as little stress as possible in addition to creating a strong, positive bond with their guardian. In addition to this I implement a S.P.I.D.E.R framework for my training cases. Setting Goals, Planning, Implementation, Documentation, Evaluation, Re-Adjusting. This framework allows me to adapt in real time to the successes and set backs that might occur over the course of training.
