PAWSITIVE Trainer Helps Pups Thrive
I have trained my own service dog to include Public Access and Medical Alert work. I worked with animal behaviorists to identify triggering events for many reactive dogs and work to improve their experience and interaction with their families.

What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation, we will discuss your experience with your dog, what things you’d like to enhance and what you’d liked to change. We will discuss behavior goals and decide the best path forward, including number of sessions.
Sessions
In your first session, we will work hands on together to begin shaping your dog’s behaviors for the better! Please provide your pup’a vaccination records prior to the session. Have lots of small treats prepared for reinforcement. Between our sessions, you will be given homework to keep those new behaviors in the right track.

I utilize Positive R+ training, based on LIMA, Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive. This provides the dog a positive foundation for learned behaviors. Minimally aversive is intended to avoid negative associations with cues, circumstances or people.

I am available each day and only work with a few clients to ensure I have enough time to devote my full attention to your pup. Package prices are for single dogs. For families with 2 or more dogs, additional pricing will apply. I love when pet parents request my help. For any pups more than 15 miles away, there will be a travel surcharge.
