Certified K9 Behavior Specialist
I guarantee no pulling or jumping in the first session. I am Certified through the accredited Starmark Academy. I teach the owner right along side the dog, so they know why we are doing everything. I get the owners to be hands on while learning, so they are comfortable with all techniques. I am also qualified for handling aggressive dogs.

What to expect
Consultation
Consultations are unnecessary, as the communication techniques that I use work on most dogs. If there is any health issues, that could affect the which techniques we use, but I have had success without consultations.
Sessions
I get to see your dog's temperament for a couple minutes while I speak with you and then we start the session. The curriculum starts with door manners to teach your dog that they can not run out the door. We then all go out and teach the dog to heel by your side, no matter which way you are walking. We then add distraction and go on a pleasant walk, ending up back home. If there is nothing specific that needs working on, there is usually room for the 'Place Stay', which just means 'go the bed and stay.' We end on discipline and any other questions.
More info
I teach the owner to communicate with the dog by associating words with their actions. Treats are not always the best reward, so if they are not food motivated, toys, play, love, etc. can be good rewards as well.
