Your pups best training bud
I aim to train for a pup to behave like a behaved dog and not a show, guard or working dog. I hope to show you that your dog can become the most amazing pup, it just takes some time, patience and treats!

What to expect
Consultation
During the consultation, I’ll want your pup to get to know me (and my scent) and I’ll ask about their typical behavior, what you want to see improvements on, and any other concerns. I’ll also ask about what training they’ve had already and what words you use for certain commands. As well as what the pup sees as a ‘reward’. Such as, a treat, throw of a toy or just a pet for when they perform a command correctly. I’ll also ask for you to provide the ‘reward’ (treats, or toys) and poop bags for the session.
Sessions
In our first session, we’ll dive straight into a training session with what we’ll discuss during the consultation. From the first session, I’ll be able to understand the pup more and will have a better idea of a game plan and timeline for the pups training, that I’ll be able to speak with you about.
More info
I use positive reinforcement training that rewards for the desired behaviors and decreases bad or unwanted behaviors. My training focuses on training the pup for what they should do, rather than what they shouldn’t do. An example, I don’t use prong collars since they do not ‘work’ and only increase pulling. They can leave scars and negatively affect the pup. Instead, I would teach the pup to not pull by positive reinforcements such as a treats whenever the pup doesn’t pull. It requires diligence and patience, but is a meaningful and positive technique that lasts a lifetime.
