I approach training in a way that offers the pet the fun, affection and positive reinforcement that they truly crave. I have over ten years of successful experience ( and over 50 positive reviews) as a dog sitter prior to my dog training endeavors, so there is plenty of experience there with creating bonds and showing patience.

Consultation
During your consultation I will examine your dog's behavior and training needs and also work with you to decide the training structure and duration needed for your particular pet.
Sessions
We will dive right into a training routine. Some dogs will be more immediately responsive to the training while others will need more time to develop the necessary trust in which case we start with Baby steps.

My training philosophy is based on operate conditioning and is reward based using treats. I believe that establishing a strong bond with your dog is way more positive and effective than the alpha approach. Showing up every day as a stable and assertive presence will create the trust your dog's needs to follow your lead. In training sessions I use clear communication, training treats, games and patience mixed with encouragement and affection. When approached correctly, your dog will have a positive association with the training techniques.

My schedule is currently open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from morning to late afternoon, Saturday after 4:00pm and all day Sunday starting at 10:00am.
