Your paws are in good hands
I like to focus on socialization from early puppyhood. The more things your dog encounters the more confident they are for the rest of their life.

What to expect
Consultation
We'll review your dogs current behaviors and your desired outcomes. We'll discuss any previous training, any medical information, your schedule, all family members living with the dog and what kind of time you have to devot to training. I require dogs be safely contained when I first arrive, either in a crate, another room or in a fenced in backyard. This helps us to have a discussion of the things previously mentioned before I greet your dog and observe them. Then we can discuss further steps.
Sessions
During a training session we will get right to hands-on training. We will review any items you have been working on since the last session and answer any questions about that. We will work on the skills using scenarios increasing duration, distance, and distraction to secure your dogs skill.
More info
I am a positive reinforcement dog trainer. I use behavioral science to determine the motivating factors for the dogs behavior and use that information to reward them to do the desired behavior. I take my knowledge and experience from being a special education teacher to help give me a different perspective into each case I work.
