Rae'sGoodDogs-BetterBonds&Behavior
I am Isaac, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Canine Science in 2024. I worked with service dogs, shelter dogs, and companion dogs. I believe in using positive reinforcement and reward based training as it is scientifically proven to be the best methods for training adhering to LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive). Through positive reinforcement, you can build a better bond with your dog, and teach them behaviors that they will want to do. Teaching you to build trust and clear communication with your dog. Consultation
Our first meeting should be a consultation. This is done at your home, I will ask you about your routine and what you want to get most out of training: what behaviors you want to teach, "bad" behaviors you're struggling with, and I'll ask you questions about your pup as well. What is your goal from training?
Sessions
Training sessions are usually done in the home, if we need to go out, we will plan accordingly. In our training sessions, First class requires a clicker*, treats, you and your pup. We'll be going over whatever you're interested in: basic obedience, intermediate, or advanced. I also love doing scent work with dogs, scent work is perfect for any dog. We can also work on select problems you're dealing with as well. I teach you how to train your dog, after I leave, it is up to you to keep up with training. Make training fun and positive. At least 5 minutes a day is better than nothing!
More info
I believe training should be fun for both the pet parent and the dog. This way it creates a more positive perspective on training and helps build better bonds and behaviors.
