Pawsative Training Guaranteed

I help owners of reactive rescue dogs turn stressful walks into calm, easy outings. If your dog barks, lunges, or freezes on leash, I can help. We’ll reduce reactivity, build confidence, and make walks feel safe and manageable. NYC is challenging, but it doesn’t have to be. Every dog deserves their best life. Package guarantee: follow the plan we agree on, and if you don’t see meaningful improvement in your dog’s behavior, I’ll keep working with you at no extra cost or refund your program fee.

What to expect

Consultation

I run consultations in person so I can see your dog's real behavior and notice where the friction is between you two. You get to meet me and feel the fit. I start by listening. Walk me through a typical day with your dog and what you want to be able to do together. I ask what matters: what have you tried before, what worries you most if nothing changes, and what does your ideal life with your dog look like. By the end, I have enough to build a real plan for your situation, not a generic template. You'll leave knowing exactly what comes next and what it costs.

Sessions

Typically in your home

A typical session is practical and relaxed, built around real life. We start with a quick goal check‑in, observe your dog in context, and train the dog in front of us. You’ll see short, focused reps with breaks. I coach you so you can repeat the wins. For reactive dogs, we work at a thinking distance and step up gradually. You leave with two or three clear exercises and when to practice them. Bring a 4–6 ft leash, collar or harness, mixed‑value treats, and a favorite toy. No retractables. Bathroom break first, no hard workout. You’ll get a simple written plan between sessions.

Positive Reinforcement

Pawsative Dog Training starts with your individual dog and real life. I build a simple, curated plan that fits your dog’s needs and your routine so training feels doable and progress is clear. We focus on trust and confidence first, then layer in skills that make daily life easier. My approach is positive reinforcement: create good associations with triggers, capture and reward the behaviors we want, and practice so they repeat. No harsh tools, no guesswork. You’ll learn practical techniques for foundation cues and real‑world manners with a focus on calmer, safer walks for reactive rescue dogs

Reactivity Training (weekdays)$700
$175 x 4 sessions
4-Session Reactivity Training Turn stressful walks into calmer, more manageable outings while building the skills and confidence to keep making progress. Designed for dogs who bark or lunge at other dogs or people, this personalized program focuses on reducing reactive episodes, improving handler focus, creating calmer passes at appropriate distances, and helping your dog recover faster after encountering a trigger. Rewards first. Clear boundaries when needed. We'll use positive reinforcement as the foundation of training, combined with clear, appropriate guidance when necessary. Training takes place where it matters most: your dog's home environment and surrounding neighborhood. We'll work with the real situations you encounter on everyday walks rather than relying solely on a controlled training environment. Each session is 60 minutes and includes hands-on coaching, real-world exercises and a clear training plan to practice between sessions. You'll also receive between-session support to help you stay on track. An initial consultation is required before beginning the bundle to assess your dog, identify triggers and determine whether the program is a good fit. Dogs with a bite history are considered following individual evaluation. Guarantee: Follow the agreed training plan and, if you don't see meaningful improvement, I'll continue working with you at no additional training cost or refund the program fee.
Reactivity Transformation$996
$166 x 6 sessions
6-Session Reactivity Transformation Go beyond managing reactivity and build calmer, more reliable behavior in the real world. This comprehensive program is designed for dogs who bark or lunge at other dogs or people and owners who want to make substantial, lasting progress. We'll work on reducing reactive episodes, building handler focus, increasing your dog's comfortable working distance around triggers, improving recovery and progressively generalizing those skills to the real situations you encounter together. Rewards first. Clear boundaries when needed. Positive reinforcement forms the foundation of the program, with clear, appropriate guidance introduced when necessary. Across six 60-minute sessions, we'll progressively challenge your dog's new skills in their home environment and surrounding neighborhood. As your dog improves, we'll work through increasingly realistic situations so the behavior isn't limited to one training location or exercise. You'll receive hands-on coaching, structured exercises to practice between sessions and ongoing support throughout the program. The goal is not only a calmer dog, but an owner who understands how to confidently continue the training long after our final session. An initial consultation is required to assess your dog's reactivity and determine whether this program is appropriate. Dogs with a bite history are considered following individual evaluation. Guarantee: Follow the agreed training plan and, if you don't see meaningful improvement, I'll continue working with you at no additional training cost or refund the program fee.
Confident Puppy$1,600
$200 x 8 sessions

Each 60-minute session includes hands-on, real-world exercises and a clear practice plan to continue between sessions.
