Pawsative Training Guaranteed
I help owners of reactive rescue dogs turn stressful walks into calm, easy outings. If your dog barks, lunges, or freezes on leash, I can help. We’ll reduce reactivity, build confidence, and make walks feel safe and manageable. NYC is challenging, but it doesn’t have to be. Every dog deserves their best life. Package guarantee: follow the plan we agree on, and if you don’t see meaningful improvement in your dog’s behavior, I’ll keep working with you at no extra cost or refund your program fee.

Consultation
I run consultations in person so I can see your dog's real behavior and notice where the friction is between you two. You get to meet me and feel the fit. I start by listening. Walk me through a typical day with your dog and what you want to be able to do together. I ask what matters: what have you tried before, what worries you most if nothing changes, and what does your ideal life with your dog look like. By the end, I have enough to build a real plan for your situation, not a generic template. You'll leave knowing exactly what comes next and what it costs.
Sessions
A typical session is practical and relaxed, built around real life. We start with a quick goal check‑in, observe your dog in context, and train the dog in front of us. You’ll see short, focused reps with breaks. I coach you so you can repeat the wins. For reactive dogs, we work at a thinking distance and step up gradually. You leave with two or three clear exercises and when to practice them. Bring a 4–6 ft leash, collar or harness, mixed‑value treats, and a favorite toy. No retractables. Bathroom break first, no hard workout. You’ll get a simple written plan between sessions.

Pawsative Dog Training starts with your individual dog and real life. I build a simple, curated plan that fits your dog’s needs and your routine so training feels doable and progress is clear. We focus on trust and confidence first, then layer in skills that make daily life easier. My approach is positive reinforcement: create good associations with triggers, capture and reward the behaviors we want, and practice so they repeat. No harsh tools, no guesswork. You’ll learn practical techniques for foundation cues and real‑world manners with a focus on calmer, safer walks for reactive rescue dogs
