Kind, Clear, Fun Training
I bring over 12 years of hands on experience working with dogs. Before becoming a professional trainer, I spent six years raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. An experience that taught me precision, patience, and how to nurture reliable, confident behavior. For the past 6.5 years, I’ve been training professionally, working both in a veterinary clinic and with a small local nonprofit training rescue dogs. This unique combination means I understand behavior, health, and daily care from multiple angles, and I’m able to support dogs with a wide range of needs.

What to expect
Consultation
A consultation is our chance to get to know each other and create a training plan that truly fits your dog and your daily life. We’ll start by talking through your dog’s history, routines, challenges, and goals. For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, I require dogs to be current on their vaccines before meeting in person.
Sessions
We start with a quick check in on how things have been going, then move into hands on exercises. I guide you through each step, explain why the techniques work, and help you practice until you feel comfortable using them on your own. Between sessions, your job is to practice the skills we worked on so your dog can build understanding through repetition and consistency. These short, frequent practice moments make the biggest difference in your dog’s progress. If questions come up or something isn’t working, you are always welcome to reach out so we can adjust and keep things moving forward.
More info
I use positive reinforcement training that builds strong communication and a trusting bond between you and your dog. My approach focuses on simple, effective games and strategies that fit naturally into everyday routines. By keeping training consistent, engaging, and fun for both humans and dogs, we create lasting results and a confident & engaged companion.

Availability
I work full-time as a professional dog trainer, but I keep most weekends open for private lessons. Training dogs is truly my passion, and I love being able to spend my free time helping dogs and their people learn, grow, and communicate better together. If you’re looking for weekend training support, I’m happy to find a time that works for you! I prefer at least 1 weeks notice for a session booking.
