Park the Bark!
I’m more diverse than other trainers as I’ve picked up a variety of training methods from working by a dog trainer I know or traveling to a trainer to expand my knowledge. I use what I know and anything I’ve learned from previous trainers that could be helpful in the situation.

Consultation
During your consultation, I’ll go over with the owner different techniques we’ll be using vary to change depending on pets needs. I’ll always start with making sure your dog is comfortable around me first as it’s hard to teach a dog who is not willing to learn. If your dog seems to not be getting comfortable with me we’ll kick off our training with working on socialization instead of basic obedience.
Sessions
During training sessions, I’ll start off greeting the dog. I’ll train them in 15-30 minute intervals lasting in total for an hour depending on how many breaks your pet may need for water or just to reset so it can pay more attention at the next interval. I focus on what the pets need and informing the owners along the way.
More info
I’ll start with letting the dog get used to me. Once the dog is comfortable around me I’ll move on to basic obedience. After basic obedience if the dog passes all needed requirements I’ll move on to off-leash training, teaching the dog to come when called, sit when told even from afar, etc. I’ve done these techniques with my own puppy they work very well for him however he is still in training. Some dogs will require different training techniques which I will adjust with them as needed. I am still learning as a trainer as I am a young trainer with that being said we’ll learn and grow together!
