Helping city dogs thrive
I’m known for blending professional training skills with a grounded, realistic approach. With years of experience working at one of Chicago’s largest dog rescues combined with group class teaching & private lessons, I understand how to support dogs who need extra patience, structure, or confidence-building. I don’t rely on rigid programs — I tailor training to your dog’s personality and your household so progress feels achievable, not overwhelming. My focus is on communication, connection, and giving you tools that truly work in day-to-day life.

Consultation
During our 20-minute phone consultation, we’ll talk through what’s been going on with your dog, what you’re hoping to work on, and what daily life looks like for you both. I’ll ask a few focused questions to understand your dog’s personality, history, and any patterns you’ve noticed. From there, I walk you through what training could look like, how we’d approach things, and what kind of progress is realistic. By the end, you’ll have a clear recommendation for next steps and a plan that feels doable for your life — no pressure, just clarity and support.
Sessions
Sessions are hands-on, calm, and tailored to what your goals. We’ll practice practical skills, introduce new exercises, and work through real-life scenarios you’re dealing with at home or in the city. I coach you through everything so you feel confident continuing between sessions. After each lesson, you’ll get a recap with simple, realistic homework that fits your life. Not hours of drills, just meaningful progress.
More info
I use modern, reward-based training that’s practical for everyday life in Chicago. My style is calm, supportive, and rooted in clear communication so dogs know what’s expected and feel safe while they learn. Much of my experience comes from working with rescue dogs, which has shaped how I approach confidence-building, fear, and those “big feeling” moments. My goal is to create sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle and strengthen the relationship between you and your dog.
