Professional Dog Training
As your dog trainer, I won’t just be teaching you how to train a dog; I will be helping you bridge a communication gap between you and your dog. I will teach you how to work with your dog in a way that puts an end to frustrating behaviors while simultaneously building and strengthening your bond. I am experienced in multiple different fields of dog training, including service dog training, puppy training, basic obedience training, reactivity, etc. and have worked with a variety of breeds and temperaments.

What to expect
Consultation
During our initial consultation, we will go over what you are looking to gain through our training sessions and I will start you off with a basic lesson on some skills we can utilize to achieve your goals. I will give you feedback on some things that may need to change about your dogs routine or how you are engaging with your dog. After our consultation, we will schedule either an individual lesson or weekly lessons with my session packages (at a discounted rate).
Sessions
Get ready for some hands-on training with your dog! Each lesson we’ll begin with reviewing how your dog’s behavior has progressed since our last session or our consultation and I will address any questions or concerns you may have. Next, I will explain and demonstrate how to work with your dog and train specific behaviors and then I will transition the handling over to you. By the end of our lessons, you will have a better understanding of your dog’s behavior and how to appropriately communicate and work with them.

I use humane, positive reinforcement based methods. During our lessons, I will teach you how to humanely correct inappropriate behaviors and how to properly reward behaviors you want to see more of. My methods will help build your leadership skills and give more guidance and clarity to your dog on what you want from them, ultimately decreasing unwanted behaviors and bringing harmony back into your home!

I’m currently working as a trainer at a local dog training center, so I am typically available Monday-Friday in the afternoon after 2pm. I typically have more availability Saturdays.
