Your on the Positive Pathway
I want to help you on this journey to your more ideal dog. If you want a calmer home, more rewarding walks, or to not feel embarrassed when you're dog meets people, I can show you the way.

What to expect
Consultation
During our consultations, we will set goals and expectations for what you are looking for in your dog. We will also be able to decide on a path forward, and set times for future meetings. Have a treat pouch, or an easy way to keep treats hidden, but easy to access. Have some idea of what things your dog loves. Is there a certain type of toy, or treats your dog prefers? Does your dog prefers to sniff around and explore, or do they want to be right by you getting pets?
Sessions
You should have a basic understanding of positive reinforcement, or willingness to learn about it. I can do all of the hard work for you, or I can be there at your side, to assist you and your dog through this journey. Be ready for fun and games while learning something new.
More info
I try to listen to the dog. I give them a voice to say when they are comfortable and willing to participate. I work at the pace of who is in front of me. I use a clicker, or a marker word when training. A clicker is optional but encouraged. It would also be great to have a treat pouch. I will NOT use aversive tools, such as a shock, prong, or pinch collars. If you use these currently, but are open to a different way to communicate with your dog. I can help.

Availability
I can train your dog when you aren't able. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, in the morning through the afternoon is my primary availability for now, as I transition between working for someone else to working for myself.
