Gentle teaching for your pup
I am equipped to handle a variety of behavior needs, such as leash pulling, crate training, and chewing. I can also assist families welcoming new puppies and adult dogs to the home by making sure a safe space is set up for their new family member, they understand basic behavior concepts, and the new addition receives early obedience training to make the transition to their new home as smooth and rewarding as possible. Dogs adopted from a Florida animal rescue or shelter receive a 15% discount on all services and packages.

Consultation
A consultation begins with a short description of what each client (that's you!) is facing that brought them to me. Are you getting a new puppy or adult dog and want to know how best to introduce them to your current pets? Do you have a problem barker? Does your dog freak out in the crate? I do prefer to observe the dog's current behavior, if applicable. After determining what each individual dog needs, the information obtained will be used to create an individualized plan of action.
Sessions
The first session is where we will begin to implement the goals established in the action plan. Action plans may take one day or multiple sessions to complete, and each session will come with homework. We will be a team working together toward your pet's best interest!
More info
My training philosophy is that most dogs are able to change behaviour with the right guidance. If we teach dogs what we want them to do and enrich them appropriately, they are less prone to behaviors we do not want to see. I am committed to Fear-free principles, so my methods are very gentle and provide incredible bonding opportunities with your dog. As a certified trainer, I have the skills to help your dog learn, and because of my educational background in Animal Science with a focus on companion animal behavior, I have the scientific knowledge to back up my training skills.
