I love working with young families to get everyone on board with dog safety and training. I used to work with kids and enjoy helping them feel empowered to help out. I have also found that people of all ages with a new puppy can use a little reassurance and support to build confidence that they are doing the "right thing" for their new dog. I specialize in helping pets live their best lives!

Consultation
In my one hour consultation we will discuss your lifestyle and goals regarding your dog. I will share information about why positive reinforcement is best for your pet and how it works, along with many tidbits about how to read your dog and communicate with them effectively. We will build a plan based on your goals and work at your and your dogs pace to achieve them.
Sessions
Training happens in your home or at locations where you would like assistance (outings to parks or stores for example). I will be there to work with your dog but also to empower you to practice the skills and feel confident before I leave. Much of training is helping the humans figure out what to do and I am happy to spend the time to clarify for them.

Reward good behaviors, ignore inappropriate bids for attention, manage behaviors you can't ignore. You and your dog are a team and communication is important. I want you to feel empowered to make good choices and read your dogs signals so you can set them up for success! I believe that every pet dog can benefit mentally and emotionally from training and I am here to help you every step of the way.

I currently work part time so I am available wed-sat daytime through evenings to come work with your pup. My evenings fill up fast, so mornings and afternoons are the best for new clients!
