Training is bonding!
In 2018 while fostering with Operation Paws for Homes, I took an interest in obedience training as a way to help my foster dogs have a better chance at staying with their adopters, as I noticed a lot of dogs would get returned to the rescue for normal dog behavior. So I took that opportunity to welcome those returned dogs into my home, and teach them the skills they needed to have a greater chance of a lasting adoption. In 2020 I got my dog training certification through Animal Behavior College, and in 2022 I joined PetSmart as a trainer, being promoted to Area Trainer in 2025.

What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation we will discuss your dog’s behaviors, your training goals, and how I can assist you in achieving such goals. Virtual consultations are free, while in person consultations cost $50 for 30min, but we can start the training at that initial session.
Sessions
In your first session be prepared to show proof of vaccination. We will meet at your house, or any location you prefer. Standard harness/collar and 4-6ft leash is recommended. I can provide treats for the training session, but be prepared to have treats for in between our meetings. If your dog has a sensitive stomach or allergies please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare appropriate treats
More info
I believe training is bonding with your pet. Positive reinforcement is the key for a healthy long lasting bond between dog and human. I prefer using force free methods, however I recognize that it doesn’t work for every dog.
