I have been in the behavior field for 20 years and have worked in animal shelters, vet clinics, and private practice. I am comfortable working with a myriad of behavior concerns including inter-dog conflict, bite cases, leash reactivity, and more.

What to expect
Consultation
During your initial consultation, we will review your dog's history as well as your training goals. Emily will then put together a management plan and discuss what the training plan will look like. If time allows, training will begin! Initial consultations last 45 minutes.
Sessions
Follow-up sessions are about 45 minutes long. We typically meet weekly or every other week depending on the behavior concern(s). During these follow-up sessions we work more through the exercises outlined in your training plan and tweak them to fit your situation better. We don’t expect to see a human therapist once to fix everything nor should we assume one visit is all it takes for our pets!
More info
I specialize in feline, canine, and avian behavior and implement behavior modification through force free training. I am committed to a science-based approach to training, behavior modification, and teaching people.
