Helping dogs feel happy alone
I have multiple certifications across multiple species (so multi species homes are welcome!) and I specialize in separation anxiety. When you sign up for services with me you get honesty, empathy, and a cheer leader to help you out along the way, as well as a knowledgeable, efficient, successful trainer.

What to expect
Consultation
You will need access to a device with a camera other than your phone so that when you are outside I can communicate with you and still keep eyes on your dog inside. At the initial consultation we'll establish your dog's baseline threshold by observing their behavior while you step outside. You will be provided with a behavior/plan tracker, I can interface with your veterinarian as needed, and you are kept informed during the whole process.
Sessions
Training sessions are virtual for separation related distress. I will give you instruction on what to do during individual sessions, but what we will do is make sure there is a camera in the area your dog is likely to be so observations can be made during an under threshold departure. That way we can push your dog's threshold higher and higher without them experiencing a panic attack.
More info
I use evidence based, positive reinforcement training to help collaboratively design behavior plans that fit the needs of both the pet and the pet parent. This might involve management, enrichment, clicker training, and/or desensitization and counter conditioning.
