Making Good Dogs Even Gooder!

I’ve spent over five years helping more than 100 dogs and their humans become a better team, from bouncy puppies to distinguished seniors up to 12 years old. My training toolbox includes positive reinforcement, learning theory, canine body language, safety, behavior management, and AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) preparation. Basically, I help dogs understand what we humans are asking for while keeping training fun, rewarding, and maybe just a little bit... gooder.

My philosophy is simple: unless aggression is involved, a dog isn't really doing anything “bad.” They're just being dogs. But without clear communication and direction, even normal dog behavior can turn into a problem. We'll brush up on the basics, reinforce good habits, and tackle anything in particular you'd like to work on. Let's put a little pep back in that step! Each session will be a one-hour, one-on-one course with at least one pet parent aged 18 or older present.
The New Kid Package$170

Welcome to the pack! This package is for pups of all ages who are new to the family and need help getting off on the right paw. Choose how you use your two sessions: Shopping Helper: Not sure what your new pup actually needs? Use a session to meet at a pet store or virtually for personalized advice on what to buy, what you can skip, and how to prepare your home for your new family member. New Pup Basics: We’ll focus on helping your pup settle into their new environment and establish the basics, including potty training, crate training, household routines, and appropriate acclimation to their new home. Each session will be a one-hour, one-on-one course with at least one pet parent aged 18 or older present.
Getting Gooder (Intermediate)$320

Ready to take things to the next level? Over 4 weeks, this package is all about building on the basics and helping your pup become a more confident, reliable gooder boy or girl. We'll work on skills like: • Heel & Better Leash Manners • Stay & Wait with Distance • Place & Settle • Polite Greetings • Focus Around Distractions • Recall with Distance & Distractions • And more! We'll also work on putting those skills to use in real-life situations, helping your pup stay focused, make good choices, and show off all that gooder behavior! Each session will be a one-hour, one-on-one course with at least one pet parent aged 18 or older present.
Getting Good (Beginner)$340

Ready to get the good stuff started? Over 4 weeks, this package is all about building a strong foundation for you and your furry friend. We'll focus on the essentials, including: • Focus & Attention • Leash Manners • Wait • Leave It & Drop It • And more! We'll also tackle common challenges like: • Chewing & Biting • Barking • Potty & Crate Training • And whatever else your pup may need help with! Each session will be a one-hour, one-on-one course with at least one pet parent aged 18 or older present.
Getting Certified (CGC Prep)$500

Ready to show off how gooder your pup can be? Over 5 weeks, this package is all about polishing your pup's skills and preparing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. We'll put those gooder skills to the test with real-world practice, helping your pup become a confident, well-mannered member of the community and get ready to strut their stuff at the CGC! Each session will be a one-hour, one-on-one course with at least one pet parent aged 18 or older present.
