Your friendly neighborhood vet tech
My experience as a certified vet tech working in emergency and critical care has helped me to understand pets deeply, and understand their psychological and emotional needs as well as their physical well-being.

Consultation
Prior to your consultation, I will send you a questionnaire to help me understand your needs and where you and your pet stand. This will help us to hit the ground running, and sometimes I can even come to the initial consultation with a prepared plan that we can tailor together.
Sessions
If we decide day training is for you, I will come to your house 2-3 times a week while you are at work to train your dog. We will then meet once a week to go over what work your pet and I have done. For one on one training, I will come over typically once a week and demonstrate for you the work you will do with your dog until our next session. Both packages I will provide written summaries, clear homework expectations, and will be available for video consultation in between sessions.
More info
After years of working in veterinary medicine and seeing how many pets hated coming to the vet or had such stressful experiences, I knew I needed to do something to truly make a difference beyond just the visit. But the true moment for me when I decided to become a certified dog trainer was when my own puppy was attacked on a walk, and was terrified to even leave the house after that. I am determined to help as many pets as I can, both cats and dogs, AND their people, have little to no stress for their vet visits.

My favorite style of training is training with your pet during the day while you are out, and then meeting with you once a week to show you what we've been working on and how you can continue the training process! I find this method to work quickly and efficiently when people have specific needs!
