Reactive Dog Specialist!
My years in both the dog rescue and dog sport worlds have given me a depth of experience to pull from as I help families reach deeper understanding and lasting behavior change. I have a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, dogs with "Big Feelings". I love helping families find solutions based out of understanding to help their dog's learn how to better manage those big feelings in a more productive and less intrusive fashion. In addition to behavior work, I adore helping families with their puppies!

What to expect
Consultation
Please expect to spend the first 15-20 minutes on discussion around your dog's known history (age, breed, allergies, activity level, exercise given during the week) along with your current struggles and goals. From there we will go over how to have clear communication with your dog through both our training and in day to day life. Once we have that started, we can jump right into training and begin to addresss your current needs.
Sessions
Typical sessions include touching base on how current goals are progressing, adjusting/adding exercises based on that information, and hands-on-training time. Every lesson includes a write up of what we discuessed along with the skills I'd like you to continue working on until I see you next. This helps elimate the need for clients to try to take notes during the lesson and let's them stay present and focused on their dog while we are learning together.
