Play, Reward, Connect
Take training beyond treats! One of the strongest ways to train and build your bond with your dog is through playing with them. It stimulates their brain and builds engagement at a deeper level. Each dog is unique, much like us humans. We must approach their training and education with methods that suit each individual dog's needs, personality, and sensitivity. There are no bad dogs and every dog is capable of learning new skills and good ways of thinking.

What to expect
Consultation
During the consultation, we will talk about your training goals, current methods you use to train or manage your dog, and I will observe how you interact with your dog inside + outside the home. Please be ready to show me your routines with your dog and also go on a walk together.
Sessions
Training sessions are where I work directly with you + the dog. We will reinforce good behaviors through rewards and communicate via the leash (ie. using the leash to gently ask them to turn with us on a walk). I will hand the training over to you for a few reps so you can start training your dog while I give feedback or adjust the exercise. After the session, it is expected that you continue training daily until next time so we can build off the previous week's progress. I will provide an organized list of weekly goals so we can track our progress. Board & train options are also available.
More info
My style of training emphasizes building engagement and a loving bond between you and your dog through routines, training exercises, and structured play/walks. Developing a strong relationship with your dog is foundational to their growth as you lead them through life. We will use things that your dogs enjoy, whether it be food, treats, toys, getting pets, or walks to shape good behaviors and teach them how to think, work through tough situations, and make good choices.

When I am not training dogs I am a private chef who prepares food for special events. This keeps my schedule flexible for training and boarding.
