What to expect

Consultation

A typical consultation is a friendly meet-and-greet to understand your dog's unique needs and behavior. I will assess temperament, discuss goals, and create a personalized, science-based training plan. I want to focus on building trust, using positive reinforcement, and ensuring you feel confident in guiding your dog's progress. Each session is tailored to transform behavior and strengthen the bond between you and your furry friend.

Sessions

Typically in your home

A typical dog training session is personalized and stress-free. I start by assessing your dog’s behavior, observing interactions, and discussing your goals. Using positive reinforcement and science-based methods, I guide you through tailored exercises, demonstrating effective strategies to address specific challenges. The focus is on building trust, enhancing communication, and fostering a strong bond, leaving you with practical tools for lasting success.

Positive Reinforcement

I believe that all dogs have a choice in training and when working with them and not against them, training can be fun and rewarding for all parties involved. No one wants to be forced into an 8 AM lecture for an hour, but if asked and there is a reward for those that join this lecture, there is likely to be more participation. This is how training with me is structured. Every training is highly tailored to the specific dog and owner's lifestyle. I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all methodology, but a special recipe for each dog.
