I speak dog better than human
Hi! I'm Dawn and I am not like any other you will meet. I am highly intuitive and passionate about my work. I only semi-joke I speak dog better than human because I truly feel at home with animals. I am passionate and dedicated to helping you learn and understand your dog's body language and behavior in order to create a deep and meaningful bond with your dog. I also always listen to your dog first. I am constantly evaluating their body language, making sure your pet stays in the right state of mind and always feels comfortable.

Consultation
Our meet & greet consultation is an opportunity for me to meet you and your pet in their natural environment so that I can observe the behaviours and body language that they may be displaying that can tell me where to start. It also gives both my client the dog and myself an opportunity to make sure that our energy is five and that we would make a cohesive team working together. I take this very seriously as this is my passion and purpose in life. The most important thing to me and working with any dog and their family is that we are all on the same page & working together as a team.
Sessions
Our first session will be focused on helping your pet feel comfortable around me, work on building your marker and getting started with a foundational command such as 'sit' or 'look at me.' You and your pup will have weekly homework assignments as well as regular progress check-ins to make sure we stay on track. You and your pup will also have fun, learn new things about each other and begin developing a mutual trust in one another..
More info
I am a R+, FF behavior modification trainer specializing in separation anxiety, reactivity & other problematic behaviors including aggression, leash pulling, barking and basic obedience training.

Availability
I am rebuilding my business here in Washington and am looking forward to getting to know the local communities. I live up above Wildcat Lake and can serve most of the peninsula. Currently, my schedule is pretty open and I am very flexible. I am happy to work with you early mornings, evenings or weekends. Where and when we train will depend on your dog's needs.
