What to expect
Consultation
Our initial consultation focuses on understanding your dog as an individual while using the Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) approach to training. During this session, we’ll review your dog’s history, behavior concerns, daily routine, and goals for training. I’ll observe your dog, identify possible triggers or learning gaps, and begin teaching practical, humane strategies that set your dog up for success. You’ll leave with a clear training plan, management tips, and the first skills needed to start building better communication and behavior with your dog.
Sessions
plan into action. We’ll review the goals discussed in the initial consultation and begin teaching foundational skills that support better behavior and communication between you and your dog. Using LIMA-based, reward-focused methods, you’ll learn how to reinforce desired behaviors, manage challenging situations, and build practical skills you can continue practicing at home. This session sets the foundation for long-term progress and confidence for both you and your dog.
