Petco Certified Dog Trainer
As an owner of two rescue dogs, I've had to do a lot of training on my own to help them get rid of some very bad habits. That's what led me to becoming a certified trainer at Petco - so I could learn additional methods that I didn't know myself. Altogether, I have a ton of personal experience, tips, and tricks to get the most out of your pup!

Consultation
During your consultation, we'll review your dog's behavior, training goals, and a recommendation for the number of sessions to achieve these goals. If we both feel like it's a good fit, then we can schedule next steps!
Sessions
A typical training will be interactive - where I will provide background and guidance on achieving the desired behaviors, demonstrate with your pup, and then have you practice on your own while I provide feedback and suggestions. The only requirement for you is to bring a positive attitude and lots of healthy treats...for your dog.

Petco's Certified Dog Training program teaches science-based methods that encourage and reward appropriate behavior. I've worked with hundreds of dogs while at Petco, and these methods have proven to work! Rather than 'obedience' training, which is inherently aggressive and creates fear and anxiety for your pup, positive behavior training creates trust and confidence in your dogs that helps keep your bond strong and your pup safe.
