Training, Behavior & Calm

I work with both dogs and cats, combining training, holistic wellbeing, cognitive enrichment, and relaxation support to help pets and their people thrive. I help families better understand body language and behavior, while recognizing individual needs, offering choices, and supporting agency. What to expect

Consultation

Consultations are available in person or virtually. We'll discuss your pet's history, current challenges, health, daily routines, and your goals. Please share relevant veterinary information, vaccination records (for in-person services), and any bite history or safety concerns. Afterward, you'll receive recommendations and a customized plan tailored to your pet and family.

Sessions

Typically in your home

Your first session is all about you, your pet, and your goals. We'll discuss what's working, what's challenging, and create a plan tailored to your household. You'll leave with practical skills, training exercises, and a better understanding of how your pet learns and communicates. Most importantly, we'll start building success from day one in a way that's enjoyable for both you and your pet.

Positive Reinforcement

I help dogs, cats, and their people build better communication, confidence, and connection. My approach is tailored to each pet's individual needs. I take a holistic view of behavior, considering factors such as health, stress, enrichment, environment, and daily routines. For sensitive, fearful, or anxious pets, I may incorporate calming touch and relaxation techniques to support emotional wellbeing. Whether you're welcoming a new pet, addressing behavior challenges, or strengthening your relationship, my goal is practical solutions that support long-term wellbeing for the whole family.
