Positive Solutions for Happy Pups!
I’m Clare, an honors graduate of The Academy for Dog Trainers. Unlike many trainers, I use an evidence-based approach rooted in operant and classical conditioning—not "alpha" myths and mumbo jumbo. My methods prioritize the known ways animals learn while avoiding the negative consequences of aversive training. As a Separation Anxiety Pro and CTC, I offer specialized expertise without ever using pain or fear. Whether volunteering with Best Friends or training your pup, I provide humane, scientifically proven results that build trust rather than intimidation.

Budget-friendly and available remotely. Day Training: I do the heavy lifting at your home. Perfect for busy go-getters who want a pro to handle the hands-on work. Walk & Train: Exercise meets education. I’ll visit for a "recess" session of walking and skill-building while you’re at work. Board & Train: Like a pro tune-up. Your dog stays with me for 2–4 weeks for intensive training.

More info
I utilize an evidence-based approach rooted in the proven principles of animal learning: operant and classical conditioning. These methodologies focus on how animals actually process associations and consequences. My training avoids the documented negative effects of aversive techniques. I will never recommend inflicting pain to produce results, nor will I use "alpha" myths to blame you for your dog's behavior. Instead, I rely on scientific standards to build a reliable, humane bond between you and your pet.
