Find Your Dog's Highest Potential
Positive reinforcement-based training = positive results. I specialize in cruelty-free training solutions for basic, intermediate, and advanced canine manners, and general and targeted problem-solving. I can help you and your dog resolve issues like housetraining, leash pulling, jumping, excessive barking, separation anxiety, crate conditioning, improving bite inhibition, and addressing more specific challenges of rehoming shelter and rescued dogs. Training is a way to improve dog behavior by creating and improving desirable behaviors that will enhance the human-canine relationship.

Consultation
Client consultation is a question-and-answer process designed to understand the client's goals, household conditions, and the history of their dog's health and behavior. All information is strictly confidential and will never be shared except as needed, with the client's approval, and only as relevant to the training program. The client should be prepared to have this information available and willing to share it openly. This information helps determine the direction of training and how to implement that for the best results.
Sessions
Training sessions are held at the client's home or other mutually agreeable location. Equipment requirements (leashes, harnesses, collars, treats, etc.) are dependent on training goals and will be reviewed with the client beforehand. The period between sessions is when the client and their dog work together to develop, practice, and improve the principles and methods outlined during the sessions with the trainer. The trainer will be available to answer questions, clarify instructions, and help the client adjust or troubleshoot training methods between sessions.
