Teaching Dogs & Humans to Connect
I’m a certified trainer through Animal Behavior College with hands-on experience in dog sports like agility and scent work. What sets me apart is my focus on teaching owners to understand their dog’s body language. Many behavior issues stem from miscommunication, not disobedience. I help bridge that gap by showing pet parents how to read their dogs and respond effectively. Dog training is really about teaching humans how to communicate with their dogs for a stronger, happier bond.

Consultation
Depending on what the owner is wanting to work on consultations can be done at your home or in a neutral area. I like to know the dogs background and details on what issues the owners are having and if possible, to get an example of the situation and what they have done to fix the issue or training methods.
Sessions
A typical session will work through the behaviors we’re trying to work on with me generally showing an example and explaining things and wanting the owner to then give it a try. I like to really help the owner understand and to have them be hands on. This helps build a bond with their dogs background and for them to know what to do when I’m not there.
More info
My training approach focuses on teaching both dogs and owners, since success comes from teamwork and consistency at home. Using positive reinforcement, I guide dogs to learn through rewards and clear communication, while showing owners how to apply these methods daily. My goal is to build the dog’s confidence and enjoyment in learning, while empowering owners with the skills to reinforce good habits, strengthen their bond, and handle challenges with patience. Training becomes a shared journey where both dog and owner grow together.
