Modern Puppy Training and Obedience
**FULLY BOOKED THROUGH JUNE** I currently work only with clients located south of the Panhandle/GGP and east of 19th Ave :) My training focus is puppies: I teach group puppy classes and have trained in modern, development-focused methods that emphasize consent, confidence, and thoughtful socialization. My approach is gentle, and I help you understand how to speak your puppy's language. I bring an informed approach to every session so that it's not about "making" your dog behave, but about setting them up to make the right choice every time.

What to expect
Consultation
During a 30-minute consultation, we’ll talk through your puppy’s routine and your goals. As I observe your puppy, I’ll point out arousal cues and demonstrate my training approach. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to communicate with your puppy, and the kinds of skills we’d be building if we continue training together.
Sessions
I offer two formats: joint sessions with you involved, and day training where I work with your puppy independently. In joint sessions, we start with a brief check-in, then I demonstrate and coach you through skills like settling, leash work, and handling. In day training, I train your puppy one-on-one and record video clips of my instruction. Between sessions, you’ll have a short list of practical, simple exercises. These are meant to fit seamlessly into daily life. The goal is consistent progress and a secure, well-behaved lil pup who is well-equipped for city life.
More info
My training is modern, choice-based, and grounded in how dogs actually learn: through agency, trust, and consistent patterns. My approach helps dogs learn how to regulate themselves, understand their environment, and feel safe. When dogs have agency, their behavior naturally becomes more stable and cooperative. With puppies, I work on social fluency and emotional resilience first. I aim to keep arousal low, introduce new experiences carefully, and teach them how to opt in and opt out of touch, play, and training. LIMA-aligned. I do not work with adult aggression or bite history cases.

Dogs are my entire focus, and I work full-time as a puppy trainer. Sessions are typically 60 minutes long, though I find young puppies tend to start falling asleep right around the 45 minute mark :)
