Train the owner, treat the dog
The bond between you and your dog is the most important part of the training process. That can be facilitated by many different avenues but, if you’re interested in getting ribbons for your dog, I am certified through the AKC to do trick dog and Canine Good Citizen testing. I’m also certified through DMWYD for trick dog testing as well.

What to expect
Consultation
During the consultation we will go over unwanted behaviors, and future goals for your dog. We will discuss any training methods you have implemented in the past and any concerns you have. When we are done talking I will let you know whether I am a good fit for you and your pup or if I believe a more specialized trainer is needed for more serious issues.
Sessions
In your first training session, get ready for some hands on action! We will dive straight into training exercises tailored for your goals. Have lots of treats on hand, so we can make it a great experience. Between sessions you will continue to work on the training exercises we practice together and any progressions we discuss as your pup improves throughout the week!
More info
I am a balanced trainer that leans more positive. I approach each dog looking at the whole family unit, whether there is a desire for treat only training or a need for more tools based on the dynamics of the family. Tools can be used for clearer communication with dogs or because they help an owner with limited mobility. Dogs are quite quick to pick up on things, so I focus on teaching you the why and how to enable you to achieve your best life with your dog.
