Let's make SIT happen!
I am CPDT-KA Certified Dog Trainer and Certified Service Dog Trainer. The CPDT-KA certification is a comprehensive and rigorous national exam administered by the Council of Professional Dog Trainers covering knowledge and skills in ethology, learning theory, dog training technique, and instruction. I have over 5,000 hours experience teaching group and private lessons, and managing dogs in large social/play groups, and specialize in canine body language.

What to expect
Consultation
During your FREE video/phone consultation we’ll discuss your dog’s behavior, your goals and expectations as well as your schedule for training and homework/practice. From there we can schedule our first in person consultation where I’ll meet you and your dog in your home and we’ll develop a training plan and determine what training options are best for you and your dog’s needs.
Sessions
Sessions are recommended weekly where we’ll use fun games and challenges to teach you and your dog new skills. During the week, there will be homework (yes! Homework) you’ll play games practicing what you learned during our sessions, gradually increasing difficulty and improving skills while improving communication and building a strong relationship between you and your dog!
More info
My training philosophy focuses on communication and relationship /team building. My fear/force free training approach uses fun games and challenges to keep YOU and your dog motivated to work together as a team as you both learn to read your dog’s body language while developing basic skills and how to use those skills to navigate through life’s challenges together. NOTE: NO choke, prong, shock (e-collars), leash corrections.
