My current enrollment in CATCH Canine Trainers Academy sets me apart from most trainers by providing me with an understanding of dog psychology which allows me to better understand how dogs learn. I work to provide training that considers the dogs needs in every aspect of their life and that creates a well rounded and fulfilled dog.

What to expect
Consultation
During your 45 minute consultation we’ll discuss your dog’s background, medical history, behaviors, day to day life and your training goals. From there we will produce a training plan that works for everyone and accomplishes your goals in a reasonable time frame.
Sessions
After your initial consultation we’ll dive into our 45 minute sessions, starting with behaviors that are the easiest to learn and will later be cornerstones for future behaviors. After every session you will receive homework to prepare you for next weeks session. Every following session will begin with a warm up or a game and will continue with the next steps for furthering desired cues or behaviors.

Training goes beyond basic commands and cues. Training looks at the whole dog and their lifestyle. I provide methods that are science backed and work with the way dogs learn by providing reinforcement for positive behavior rather than correcting a dog for undesirable behaviors or expressing their emotions. Positive reinforcement allows dogs to clearly understand what’s expected of them and builds a bond between you and your dog.
