I hold both a CPDT-KA Cert. & an Advanced Canine Training & Behavior Cert. from the Animal Behavior Institute, as well as having a strong background in ABA, allowing me to tailor training to each dog’s needs while guiding pet parents in a way that makes sense. I use science-based, positive reinforcement methods to build confidence & strengthen bonds. I customize training for success and empower owners with the knowledge to maintain progress long after our sessions end!

Consultation
A consultation is the first step in understanding your dog’s needs and setting up a personalized training plan. I’ll learn about your dog’s history, behavior, goals, and assess their skill level. Be ready to share details about their routine, past training, and challenges. Afterward, I’ll provide a summary and recommend a training plan tailored to your dog. Once we decide what your goal is for our private lessons, I’ll ensure you have a clear roadmap and tools to reinforce positive behaviors at home.
Sessions
Day training sessions are engaging, educational, and tailored to your dog’s needs. We begin with a check-in to discuss progress and challenges, followed by positive reinforcement exercises to build or refine skills. Sessions are fun and stress-free, ensuring success for both you and your dog when they go home. Please bring a variety of treats, a secure leash, collar, and harness. After, I’ll email a recap of our day as well as How To videos and instructions for continued guidance for at-home practice!

At this time, I’m only offering Day Training in my home on Tuesdays. This is where I work with your dog while you go off and enjoy your day! I'll handle the heavy lifting of teaching your dog a new behavior or two, as well as having them socialize with my dog and other Day Care pups! After you pick up your pup, you'll receive How To videos and instructions of what we worked on that day. You get to specificize what you'd like us to work on, but often pet parents need help with leash manners, basic cues (sit, stay, heel), impulse control, and socialization.
